Kent & Curwen

by Chu Ting Ng

Kent & Curwen is an English luxury brand with a flagship store located in Piccadilly Circus, the heart of London. Established in 1926, Eric Kent and Dorothy Curwen expanded from manufacturing club, college and regimental ties to gentlemen's club, sportswear and accessories.

Kent & Curwen's product range includes business and casual menswear, all of which embody the athletic aesthetic and classic English sophistication. Famed for the cricket sweater, the brand's look is heavily associated with sports such as rugby and cricket. It has sponsored the national English cricket team among many others throughout the years. Using fine Italian and English wools, materials and tailoring are a point of pride for this label.

To date, Kent & Curwen maintains an exclusive client base. The fashion house is tied to fundamental tenets of English heritage, supplying ties to the different colleges of the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Currently, the business has expanded its reach to Japan, Hong Kong and mainland China.
